Wizard WRAT days-of-the-week summary 2021-2023
It was a difficult day yesterday with more form/rated runners performing below par in more meetings than is normal. This type off day occurs from time to time, and I have never found a satisfactory explanation for this phenomenon.
Personally, after seeing really well qualified runners defeated in more races than would be expected, and enduring a succession of top-rated second place finishes, I reassure myself that this is an aberration, and results will return to normal.
That said, I though it might be useful to report on how the Wizard Rating (Wrat) has performed on a days-of-the-weeks basis during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons.
These stats do demonstrate Wrat consistency across the board and confirm what earlier Wizard Daily Reports have shown; provincial and country racing is just as reliable a betting medium as metropolitan meetings.
