Trainer & Jockey combinations and profile (Mitchell Beer)
Mitchell Beer has been "close" to the racing world from a very young age. His father, Les Beer, enjoyed a successful career as jockey, spanning over 30 years. At just 16 years of age Mitch Joined the Lloyd Williams operation at Flemington and was there four years, before joining trainer Russell Cameron, also at Flemington, there rising to the position of foreman. Subsequently he worked with Jason Warren, assisting in development of Jason's stables on the Mornington Peninsula.
Mitch obtained his trainers licence in November 2015, initially partnering with Max Hinton. In 2018 he relocated from Mornington to Albury, and in 2023 he relocated again, this time to a major provincial track, Kembla Grange.
Mitch is a regular contributor to social media platforms and his sense of humour usually shows through. But a study of his career to date shows that he is a serious and careful thinker about his profession. Illustrative of this is the fact that he has a data analyst on his staff to assist in the placement and programming of his horses.

Included in the table are only those stables for which the jockey has registered at least one win in the $2.00 - $5.90 odds range during the period covered which is from 1 August 2022, so last season and the current season.
