Daily Wizard Freebie - Highlighting Reports - Wizard Plus Raceday Report
Each day The Wizard will publish on this page one of its Wizard Plus reports or special features, either completely or a part thereof, and today the Wizard Freebie is an extract from the Wizard Plus Raceday Report, covering Muswellbrook and Tatura.
If you print out any of the Wizard Reports you have the opportunity to colour-code and annotate the report.
To show what might be done, I have used the Wizard Plus Raceday Report from yesterday, Monday, September 9.
(Note: Yesterday happened to be an above average day for the Raceday Report and is not necessarily representative of what can be expected on a day-to-day basis.)
So, suppose you have a particular interest in those runners that are FLAGGED (double ** alongside the WMHE code), those runners whose trainer has a high win strike rate, and those runners where the jockey/trainer combination also meets your out-performing criteria. These can be highlighted, and by so doing you have identified a sub-set of runners that can then be considered further as a potential bet, and easily followed during the course of betting.
In this example, the FLAGGED horses are prioritised and colour coded BLUE, and the trainer and jockey/trainer combinations are colour coded YELLOW, if they show a minimum of 5 wins and a strike rate of 35% or more. Also, the runner with a proven Form Cycle has been colour coded highlighted. This is just an example, and you could set your benchmarks etc at whatever level you feel is appropriate.
The advantage of marking up a Wizard Report is that it does focus attention on relevant information, and that has to be a good thing!

The following table shows where the winner of each race run yesterday was rated by Wrat, Wmod, Whcp, and Wexpk and in the Wizard Plus Raceday Report. The Wrat analysis applies to both Wizard and Wizard Plus. The Wmod, Whcp, and Wexpk analysis applies to the ratings included in Wizard Plus. (Note: The Wrat winners include the top rated and second top-rated winners.) The Raceday reported winners under the Top Rated column are from those races where there was only one Raceday qualifier, and under the Top 2 Rated on the rare occasions where there are two qualifiers in a race.
