Daily Wizard Freebie - Wizard Magic (Abridged)
Each day The Wizard will publish on this page one of its Wizard reports or special features, either completely or a part thereof, and today the Wizard Freebie is using three races from the Hawkesbury Wizard Magic (abridged) Report to illustrate a possible approach to highlighting.

The purpose of this extract is to illustrate one way to highlight key elements of the report.
Where the horse is flagged only as a market mover, the horse name is highlighted.
Where the horse is flagged as a Magic runner the trainers name is highlighted, as well as the horse name.
Where the horse is both a Magic runner and a market mover, the horse name, jockey and trainer, as well as the horses tab number are highlighted.
Given there are normally quite a few races on raceday featured in the Magic Report, highlighting in this manner makes the key runners easy to identify.
ABOUT MAGIC: A key factor in the success of a racehorse is without doubt the ability of the horses trainer. For example, some trainers out-perform with first-up runners, or when backing-up quickly, whilst others have an excellent record when their horses are rated to win. The Wizard Magic Report focuses specifically on these trainer specialities.
There is a second important element in this Magic report, the monitoring of early market moves and wagering operators book rebalancing in the
light of early betting and information received. Taken together, these two factors, trainer specialities and early market moves, provide a unique insight into the possible outcome of a race

The following table shows where the winner of each race run yesterday was rated by Wrat, Wmod, Whcp, and Wexpk and in the Wizard Raceday Report. (Note: The Wrat winners include the top rated and second top-rated winners.) The Raceday reported winners under the Top Rated column are from those races where there was only one Raceday qualifier, and under the Top 2 Rated on the rare occasions where there are two qualifiers in a race.
