Newly released today is a quick and convenient way to check out, for example, the (winning) relationship history between trainers and jockeys for any engagement at a meeting currently covered by Wizard.
You access this query facility through Race Fields.
Alongside each trainer and jockey name is the (i) icon. By clicking on the (i) you will see the last 12 months of winners for that trainer or jockey. This data can be sorted by clicking the column heading and this is where it becomes really useful. (Note: Double clicking will sort in descending order.)
In the context of this article, lets examine the success (if any) enjoyed by the trainer Michael Freedman and Jockey Zac Wadick combination. From this Race Fields screen for Race 8 at Warwick Farm today, click on the (i) alongside the name of Michael Freedman to show the winners from his stable over the past 12 months.
