Daily Wizard Freebie - Wizard LEADERBOARD for jockeys, trainers, combos for Kembla Grange (NEW)

Each day The Wizard will publish on this page one of its Wizard reports or special features, either completely or a part thereof. Today the Wizard Freebie is the Wizard Leaderboard for Kembla Grange. This report and all other reports for all meetings for today are available now for subscribers.

Two days ago, Wizard published its list of Australia's "winningest" jockeys for the previous week. This continued the effort we make to provide subscribers with comprehensive and directly relevant information that can assist in selection-making.

Today, we are making available a new Wizard feature, the Wizard Leaderboards.

The Wizard Leaderboard is designed to highlight the most successful jockeys, trainers, and jockey-trainer combinations competing at each meeting covered by the Wizard.

An explanation of these unique Wizard Leaderboards follows:

The Wizard Leaderboards for jockeys, trainers, and jockey-trainer combinations are available for all Australian and New Zealand meetings covered by the Wizard.

The Leaderboards feature the top 10 jockeys, trainers, and jockey-trainer combinations competing at each meeting.

The information provided is detailed, covers various time periods, and performance in three odds ranges.

Reading a Leadership table from left to right:

Jockey, Trainer, Jockey/Trainer: The name of the individual or combination.

Win record by location (country, provincial, metropolitan): This first set of data covers the last 12 months, showing the number of wins and the win percentage, and is the basis for the Leaderboard ranking.

Win record at the Track: There are two time periods shown - 3 months (to reflect current form) and 2 years (for a broader overview).

(Note: Where a jockey, trainer, or combination has not recorded a win, the entry indicates that by recording a zero, followed by the number of non-winning runs in brackets.)

Win record at the Track (2 years): The jockey, trainer, or combination record is broken down into three starting price odds ranges - less than or equal to $5.90, between $6.00 and $9.90, and when the starting price is longer than $10.00.

Win record by location (Country, Provincial, Metropolitan): There are two time periods shown - 3 months (to reflect current form) and 2 years (for a broader overview).

Win record by location (2 years): Again, this record is broken down into three starting price odds ranges - less than or equal to $5.90, between $6.00 and $9.90, and when the starting price is longer than $10.00.

Win record All Tracks: The full record on All Tracks is shown for the last 3 months and the last 2 years.

Win record All Tracks (2 years): For this longer time period the record is again reported on by odds ranges - less than or equal to $5.90, between $6.00 and $9.90, and when the starting price is longer than $10.00.

Availability:

The Leaderboard is available with the other Wizard files the day before the race meeting, and an updated edition is provided on raceday, once the meeting's scratchings have been processed.

The following table shows where the winner of each race run yesterday was rated by Wrat, Wmod, Whcp, and Wexpk and was the qualifier in the Wizard Raceday Report. (Note: The Wrat [W] winner results report on both the top rated and top-two rated winners.) The Raceday Report winners under the Top Rated column are from those races where there was only one Raceday qualifier, and under the Top 2 Rated on the rare occasions where there were two qualifiers in a race.
