"Winningest" jockeys, Winning Jockeys back-on, SNAPSHOT Holly Nottle
Here is the list of jockeys who rode at least a double at any of the Tab meetings last week, along with the trainers for whom they rode the winners. This table is colour coded to highlight the outperformers and it is definitely worth noting these riders and combinations.

It is also worth noting when a jockey who has previously won on a horse is replacing a rider who has not done so. Whilst history shows that this is not a prime indicator of likely success, it is significant in some cases.
The list below shows the winning horses last week that raced with a (previous) winning jockey replacing a rider who had not previously been successful on the horse.

Jockey SNAPSHOT profile - Holly Nottle
The Jockey/Trainer combinations that are included here are based on the following criteria: The Jockey/Trainer combination is listed when a jockey's record shows at least 2 wins when riding the Wizard top-rater, or at least 3 wins when riding the race favourite, or 4 wins if the runner is in the $2.00 to $5.90 odds range, for that stable. Also included are the overall percentage stats for the jockey when riding a Wizard top rater or race favourite, for any stable. Note, that these stats cover the rider's results in all races, irrespective of location.

Here is a Snapshot Profile of Holly Nottle (via ChatGPT, and other sources) which makes for some interesting reading.
Holly Nottle has definitely made a mark on Western Australian racing, riding her first 100 winners in just 291 days, a better record than riders currently in the top echelon of W.A.s senior riders. thewest.com+1
Early days and family background
Holly Nottle grew up on her parent's farm in Western Australia, spending much of her childhood riding horses in a nonracing environment. Her family background is in farming and fishing rather than thoroughbred racing, and she initially had no direct connection to the racing industry. However, she did compete in gymkhanas, show-jumping and rodeo events where her love of speed developed. This foundation in fast-paced equestrian sports later translated naturally to race riding, giving her strong balance and confidence on horseback. thewest.com+1
Entry into racing and training pathway
Holly's first contact with the professional racing world came only a few years ago when she began riding trackwork. It was at end of 2023 she decided to pursue riding as a serious career. She made her race debut at Pinjarra on 28 May 2025. A key figure in Holly's development has been veteran trainer Fred Kersley Snr, a respected name in Western Australian racing. She rode her first winner for the stable and has publicly acknowledged the support and opportunities. She is a graduate of Racing W.A.'s Apprentice Jockey Training Program. trackside.co+3 Racing WA
Main riding bases and circuits
Holly has quickly become a regular across the state's provincial, country and metropolitan circuits. Early in her career she rode on the dirt tracks of Port Hedland and Carnarvon. She has also ridden successfully at Pinjarra, Northam, Kalgoorlie and Albany, as well as at Belmont and Ascot.
Key trainer partnerships
Holly has built productive links with a number of Western Australian trainers. Statistics show success with Daniel and Ben Pearce, for whom she has ridden multiple winners, as well as Peter Fernie and Timothy Pike. She has also ridden backtoback winners for trainer Darren McAuliffe. These partnerships have helped her secure a consistent flow of quality rides in both country and city races. albanyadvertiser.com+3
Career highlight
Holly posted her first victory less than a month after her first race ride. In the months that followed, she rapidly accumulated winners with doubles at Port Hedland and Carnarvon and further success at Northam and Kalgoorlie, establishing herself as one of W.A.'s most promising apprentices. In March she rode her 100th career win, after just 291 days of race riding. Based on currently available stats that performance made her the fastest jockey in Western Australia's history to reach 100 wins, breaking Lucy Fiore's previous mark of 335 days and surpassing the early winning rates of top riders such as Chris Parnham. Over the last 12 months she has maintained a strike rate around 16 percent, and sits high on both the statewide and metropolitan jockey premiership tables, a remarkable achievement for a 21yearold in only her first year of race riding.
